Welcome to the Advocacy, Access and Engagement Committee (AAEC) of the Texas Thespians Education Network (TTEN). Since 2022, Texas Thespians has provided student and educator responsive programming to the ever-evolving landscape of Texas theatre education. The AAEC will continue to build on this commitment by providing actionable, data-driven programming and classroom responsive resources at Texas Thespians events.
OUR MISSION: The Advocacy, Access & Engagement Committee (AAEC) strives to empower Texas Thespian students, teachers, and school communities by providing relevant resources and effective programming that foster engaging, supportive, and student-centered learning opportunities. OUR VISION: We envision an educational network where students, teachers, and school communities have the guidance and opportunities to lead, collaborate, and advocate through theatre and provide accessible participation in theatre programs for every learner.
