The most common questions about the Educator Conference are:
Do I have to have a Troupe? NO! But you must be a theater educator or administrator - from K-University!
Are there any membership fees? NOPE!
Are the workshops Thespian-centric? NO!
The mission statement for the Texas Thespians Educator Conference is "Teachers teaching teachers how to teach.." As Educator Conference Director, I am committed to ensuring that we have workshops that rotate from year to year, to keep the conference fresh and intimate. It's imperative that we offer you an opportunity to network with other educators, to share ideas, to attend master classes, and to celebrate the excellent work that we are doing as theater educators.
I hope to see you at the conference, where I can personally welcome you. My pledge to you is that you leave feeling included, refreshed, and celebrated! I am excited to see you in January!
Please email me should you have questions.

TTEC has been truly amazing, the hotel wonderful and sooo accomodating and super friendly, and the meals provided with our entry fees are FABULOUS! The quality of people presenting is top notch as they have brought in some top tier guest artists as well as teaching artists. You MUST make plans to attend next year, fellow theatre educators!!!! #ttec19

"It was just what I needed. I am walking away confident with what I learned, or reminded of what I have learned through out the years, without feeling overwhelmed or let down. I got what I needed within a budget I could afford. The meal tickets, Thespian bucks, the games felt like I won the lottery, or better put, I felt appreciated. I can’t wait to attend next year with more of my close Theatre colleagues. Congratulations on the #ttec19 debut!"

I just want to say thanks to the generosity of Mark Batts of Batts AVL! Many of our Thespian events would not happen without your sponsorship and hard work! Very thankful for you! Kudos to Amy Jordan and team on a fantastic conference! Let’s do it again next year!!
