Texas Thespians Honor Troupe

Honor Troupe is designed to recognize the outstanding work of the individual troupe and Texas Thespians will recognize participating troupes annually. 

Each troupe is enrolled in Leadership Academy. 

Troupes participate in scheduled events and assignments online to earn points towards being named a Texas Thespians Honor Troupe!
Any Thespian Troupe may register and enroll in the Texas Thespians Leadership Academy.

The program is a year-long course that empowers student leaders to advocate for their programs and create community engagement using Theatre. Troupes will complete a series of assignments using Google Classroom. Each month Troupes will upload their assignments and are awarded points for completion. Troupes will also designate a student leader to participate in a zoom meeting, held every other month for support and guidance. 
 
Open Enrollment for 2023 - 2024 will be August 2023

What's Included? 

Troupes who participate and completed the course will receive the following: 
  • Honor Troupe Banner and Plaque
  • Troupe Honors listed on our website and Texas Thespians social media 
  • Featured in Texas Texas Thespians Monthly
  • Letter to District Leaders recognizing your hard work and advocacy efforts
  • Digital media package including Honor Troupe emblem to share on your Troupes social media and production advertisements
