Mission and Purpose of the Network:
The purpose of the Texas Thespians Advocacy Network (TTAN) is to create an educational and professional network to strengthen equitable access and support of Theatre education. 

Texas Thespians Advocacy Network shall:
  • Assert that the arts are part of a balanced education
  • Commit to supporting equitable access to Theatre education 
  • Provide theatre education advocacy resources at the state and local levels;
  • Promote ideas to advance theatre education program standards;
  • Provide support and professional development to educators and administrators;
  • Promote student voices in Theatre Advocacy efforts;
  • Provide curriculum support to ensure that all Texas theatre students are assured quality instruction and appreciation of theatre arts;
  • Cultivate support to sustain, promote, and grow Texas Thespians.
