Mission and Purpose of the Network: The Texas Thespians Education Network aims to empower theatre educators, administrators, and students through collaboration, professional development, and advocacy for equitable, high-quality theatre education across Texas.

The Texas Thespians Education Network shall:
  • Affirm that the arts are an essential component of a well-rounded education
  • Commit to supporting equitable access to theatre education
  • Offer advocacy resources for theatre education at the state and local levels;
  • Promote ideas to enhance standards in theatre education programs.
  • Provide support and professional development opportunities to educators and administrators;
  • Encourage student engagement in theatre advocacy efforts.
  • Provide curriculum support to ensure all Texas theatre students receive quality instruction and foster an appreciation of theatre arts;
  • Foster support to sustain, promote, and expand Texas Thespians programs.
