The Leadership Academy is a year-long, online training program for the developed troupe, the struggling troupe, and the troupe that is transitioning to new leadership. Troupes are guided through activities and assignments via Zoom calls and Google Classroom.  

The Leadership Academy:  
  • Develops leadership skills
  • Improves troupe dynamics
  • Promotes collaboration
  • Creates best practices 
  • Strengthens your program

Troupes who complete the Leadership Academy attain Honor Troupe status.

Honor Troupes are awarded a plaque, a banner to hang in your theatre, and featured in Texas Thespians Monthly.

*** Troupes are not required to attend Troupe Days to participate in Leadership Academy, but it is highly encouraged!

  • Designed to recognize the outstanding work of the individual troupe. 
  • Will recognize participating troupes annually. 
  • Each troupe enrolled participates in scheduled events to earn points to be named top troupes in Texas!
