Students will work with industry professionals as they develop production management skills by working State Festivals. 

Eligibility 
  • Must attend a live state festival -  Corpus Christi or Grapevine  
  • Grades 9 - 12 and in good standing with troupe 
  • Strong work ethic and desire to grow as a technician 
  • One student per troupe may apply 
  • Must have director approval

Registration 
  • Register for a State Festival - Corpus Christi or Grapevine
  • Registration fee - $20
  • Complete the application and submission requirements

Honor Crew Positions​
Students may select one or more areas to serve as Honor Crew. Each area will have varying commitments so make sure to discuss your choices with your Troupe Director. 
  • Competition Honor Crew - Help with Thespys & Competitions - Includes Ballot Management
  • Main Stage Honor Crew - Serve as Crew for Main Stage Shows
  • Workshop AV Crew - Assist with AV Needs for Workshop Presenters
  • All-Festival Honor Crew** - Assist with Festival Programming and Displays 
  • Tech Relay Challenge & Team Challenge Crew - Assist with Tech Challenge and Team Events (Non-Competitors Only) 
**Students who choose All-Festival Honor Crew will be required to arrive prior to Festival for load in and stay after festival for strike. More details coming soon! 
Expectations 
  • Be professional and courteous to all attendees 
  • Be on time to your shift and diligent in your efforts 
  • Arrival to the event on check in day and stay until the end of closing ceremonies
  • Students will work a prescheduled shift that may include: 
    • assisting in registration 
    • assisting with workshop technology 
    • assist with production needs in performance spaces 
    • Strike 
    • Other duties as assigned
  • Be available to attend two virtual training sessions that will be held via zoom
    • Zoom meetings will cover the Honor Crew schedule 
    • Equipment Training 
    • Meeting Dates - TBD on student availability
